About Amerifi
We help build businesses.
Amerifi was created by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. Our team has decades of experience building businesses in a wide range of industries, and we know how critical it can be to have financial resources when you need them. Since 2013, we've supported small business owners throughout the United States and Canada with more than $150 million in approved funding.
We specialize in helping businesses that can't catch a break from the banks. If your company already has loans or lines of credit, we can help you consolidate your debts at more favorable rates or increase your overall credit limits. If your business isn't old enough, or well-connected enough, or in the "right" industry, we can help. At Amerifi, when banks say no, we say yes!
Our success is built on the core values of trust and understanding. We're proud of our flawless rating on Trustpilot, which demonstrates our unwavering commitment to doing what's best for our clients. Amerifi account managers truly listen to every client, and we'll also provide transparent communication throughout the funding process, to ensure you get the right form of financing, at the right rates and amounts, to take care of your critical business needs. We've forged unique partnerships with the nation's top lenders, which we leverage to get your business the most money at the best rates available.
At Amerifi, we succeed when you succeed. We know what it's like to be turned down for a loan for reasons that have nothing to do with the strength of your business. We know what strong businesses look like, and we know your commitment to your business deserves an equal commitment from your financial partner. We'd love to work with you and help your business thrive.

OUR TEAM

Edward DeAngelis
FOUNDER AND CEO
Edward DeAngelis has business in his blood. For nearly three decades, he’s been successfully founding, bootstrapping, building, and exiting businesses in Philadelphia’s Delaware Valley area.
Since 2013, Edward has led teams that have secured more than $150 million in total financing to help entrepreneurs build better and stronger businesses without giving up equity. He’s been heavily involved in all aspects of alternative business funding throughout this time, and he’s placed particular emphasis on broker and client relationships.
The strength of Edward’s and Amerifi’s relationships testify to his integrity; more than half of Amerifi’s business comes from referrals sent by happy clients. Edward makes sure everyone at Amerifi has taken to heart this saying from Warren Buffett:
“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.”
Edward was a successful multiple-time entrepreneur prior to founding Amerifi. In 2016, he exited Funding Metrics, which he founded and led to annual funding volumes of $40 million. In addition to developing Funding Metrics' relationships with clients and lenders, he also trained and directed Funding Metrics' sales staff and oversaw all aspects of its marketing strategy. Edward’s experience in creating and building Funding Metrics, which now operates as BizLender, informs his people-first approach with Amerifi and its clients.
In 1999, Edward founded Olympic Embroidery, a leading full-service promotional and apparel production shop that served businesses and events located throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Olympic was acquired by Ampro, one of the world’s leading enterprise-scale screen printing companies, in 2015.
Edward’s first successful business venture began in 1991, when he left the corporate world to create Perfume World Imports. This venture, which began by selling high-quality products directly to consumers on the busy streets of Northeast Philadelphia, eventually grew into a wholesale and retail merchandise distributor serving hundreds of vendors across a four-state distribution footprint. Edward has also built a portfolio of high-end Philadelphia-area rental properties as the founder and CEO of private real estate investment company Giandad.
Edward’s drive and determination were forged early in life as he sought to escape the cycle of poverty and drug abuse that had held back generations of his family before him. He honed an innate ability to sell and build relationships into his greatest professional asset, bootstrapping each of his businesses to more than a million dollars in revenue within three years of their founding. As a lifelong native Philadelphian, Edward has never forgotten his roots. When not at work, he enjoys coaching and supporting local youth sports teams or cheering on the Phillies. He and his wife and three daughters live in the Philly suburb of Broomall.
